Bypass bypass…It is a method which presents all the sealing guarantees thanks to the welded joints. But it is also a bit complex to implement because it requires intervention on an existing installation. Of course, it is better, during fitting-out works, to establish a T-branch using a special fitting (T).
… Or a self-drilling tap? This second solution is attractive because it is simpler and faster to implement. It only requires that the valve be screwed onto the supply line at the chosen location. However, it may be less durable than the previous one - and the fitting itself costs a lot more. Ultimately, each solution has its advantages: choose according to your equipment and the durability that you want to give to the installation.
